The call
A Lexington homeowner wanted a level, permanent spot for a Traeger smoker at the bottom of the deck steps instead of a grill sitting on dirt and pavers.
What we did
- Formed and poured a small slab at the foot of the deck steps, sized to the grill with room to stand and work.
- Base compacted and the slab pitched slightly away from the house so it drains.
- Broom finish for grip, edges tooled clean against the deck.
- Small job, done right — the kind bigger companies do not return calls about.
