Enter your address and we'll measure your roof from satellite imagery — free, no obligation, no one knocking on your door.
Works for any South Carolina address. We serve Columbia and the surrounding Midlands, and take work elsewhere in the state by arrangement.
Chimneys need new flashing where they meet the roof, so this affects your estimate.
We'll never sell your information. Our team will reach out within 24 hours.
Measuring your roof
Most homeowners have no idea how big their roof is until three contractors have each walked it and each come back with a different number. This tool measures it first, for free, from the same satellite building model the industry pays for — so you start every conversation already knowing your square footage, your pitch and roughly what a replacement should cost.
Type your address, pick it from the list, and tell us where to send the report. The building model returns each roof plane with its area and pitch; we add them up, round the squares up to the nearest third (roofers buy in thirds), and apply current Midlands pricing for architectural shingles. Trees over the roof, or a model that covers less than the footprint, get flagged rather than priced.
Keep it. When a contractor quotes you, ask how many squares they measured and compare. If they are far off, ask why. If you want us to be one of the quotes, say so on the form or call (803) 258-0842 — and if a storm has been through, run the free storm damage inquiry for your address too.
Yes. There is no charge and no obligation. We built it so homeowners can get a real number before deciding whether to call anyone.
It uses Google's building model for your address, which measures each roof plane and its pitch. On a clear roof it is close enough to price from. Heavy tree cover blocks the model, and when that happens we say so instead of guessing.
Roof area in square feet and roofing squares, average pitch, number of roof planes, and a ballpark replacement price range for architectural shingles. Gutter footage is included when the model supports it.
No. It is a ballpark from the measurement and current material costs, so you know the neighborhood before anyone visits. A written quote follows an in-person look at decking, flashing and ventilation.
No. We email the report. If you want an in-person estimate you ask for it, and the roofing page explains what happens on that visit.
The tool works for any South Carolina address. We serve Columbia, Lexington, Irmo, West Columbia, Cayce, Forest Acres, Blythewood, Chapin, Elgin and the surrounding Midlands, and take work elsewhere in the state by arrangement.
