The call
This Lexington homeowner wanted a bigger, higher gated area off the house where small dogs could be let straight out without a leash, on a backyard that drops away toward the tree line.
What we did
- Black vinyl-coated chain link, which disappears into the trees far better than galvanized.
- Posts set in concrete and the fabric stepped down the slope so there is no gap at the bottom for a small dog to squeeze under.
- Gate hung plumb with hardware that will still latch after a wet winter.
- Taller than the old enclosure, and a good deal larger.
- Same homeowner, same visit as the 6-inch gutters, guards and fascia repair — one crew handled both.
