The call
This Lexington homeowner’s gate was broken, and it had been hung poorly to begin with. They wanted a new gate and a new 12-foot section of fence.
What we did
- Replaced a 12-foot section of wood privacy fence and built a new gate.
- Set four 4x4 posts where the old section had only two. A gate is only as good as what it hangs on, and two posts was never enough. We do things right.
- Hung the new gate properly, so it swings and closes the way it should.
- Finished it with a minimalist knob for a clean look.
