The call
The existing fence along this West Columbia property had reached the point of falling down. The homeowner wanted it replaced with something that would hold a straight line along the road for decades.
What we did
- 785 linear feet of pressure-treated three-rail wood fence with a full-length top rail, along the road frontage, up the grade and along the tree line.
- Every post set in concrete two feet below grade — the part of a fence you never see and the part that decides whether it leans.
- Two gates, including a galvanized wire gate hung on concreted posts at the drive.
- Rails follow the slope where the ground climbs, so the top line stays even from the road.
